anfang 2025 sehnte ich mich nach mehr leben ohne bildschirm. weil illustrieren auf dem ipad sich wegen meines 9-5-jobs zwar wie ein traumjob anfühlt, aber in dem kontext immer noch arbeit bleibt, suchte ich den weg weg vom digitalen hin zur leinwand. seitdem steht die staffelei nicht mehr ohne leinwand.
„TOMATENJUNGE“ brachte mir somit meinen spark zurück.

in early 2025, i was longing for more life away from screens. although illustrating on the ipad feels like a dream job because in my 9-to-5 job, it’s still work in that context, so i started looking for a way to move away from the digital world and back to the canvas. since then, my easel has never been without a canvas.

“TOMATEN JUNGE” therefore brought my spark back to me.
